Lignano Riviera is the quietest part of Lignano and has large green areas where it is
possible to go for walks in the shadow of wonderful trees.
The beach is divided into six bathing establishments and is equipped with around 3,000
beach umbrellas to be rented at different prices. The umbrellas are distant from each other
and are used by private guests, hotels and estate agencies. The equipment has been
completely renovated and is updated every year. In order to maintain the features
necessary to receive the Blue Flag, the beach is sieved daily to 15 cm depth with beach
cleaning machines Beachtech driven by highly qualified staff.
Waste is collected separately, there are passageways, facilities and parking spaces for the
disabled, toilets, showers with cold and warm water, baby-changing units, children playing
areas as well as a careful rescue service with staff able to use the defibrillators with which
the beach offices are equipped. In the summer all beach offices organize entertainment
activities such as water gym and muscle-awakening for adults and mini-club,
baby-parking, parties and environmental awareness courses for children.
On the beach in Riviera it is also possible to attend the swimming or sailing school, to rent
pedal boats and take a rest at the various refreshment bars. |
